Letters and Science W1: Exploring the Liberal Arts is a two-unit summer online course for students who want to make the most of a liberal arts education. Meet guest speakers and faculty members from over twenty departments who will walk you through your options in the College of Letters and Science. This course will give you a head start on finding your passion at Berkeley.
Who can take Letters and Science W1?
Newly Admitted Freshmen - students admitted to UC Berkeley for fall 2017
International and Visiting Students - students from visiting US colleges/universities or international students
High School Students - High school students who have completed the 10th grade by the start of summer classes and have a B average or better. Visiting international students may not enroll in this class.
