Student Advisors are current UC Berkeley students who help throughout the year with student recruiting efforts in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA). They serve as a crucial point of contact for prospective students and their families through phone calls, at our in-person and virtual front desks, our live-chat system, and various in-person and virtual outreach events.
As a Student Advisor, you help to shape next year’s class of Golden Bears. The role is not only an important and unique responsibility, but also a way to meet new friends, make an impact on prospective students and their families, and add valuable leadership experience.

We are offering a variety of in-person courses this summer including CHEM 1A (General Chemistry), 1AL (General Chemistry Lab), 3A (Organic Chemistry I), 3AL (Organic Chemistry I Lab), 3B (Organic Chemistry II), 3BL (Organic Chemistry Lab II), 32 (Prep for General Chemistry), and 115 (Organic Chemistry - Advanced Laboratory Methods). We also have Stockroom Student Assistant Positions that are ideal for those looking to gain experience handling chemicals, maintaining equipment, and working in a laboratory environment, and Chemistry TA/uGSI positions for all offered courses.
The Center for Educational Partnerships at UC Berkeley seeks qualified temporary, part-time Residential Advisors for Summer 2023 to support 200 high school students who are participating in the NAF Future Ready Scholars UC Berkeley Summer Experience Program for 3-weeks during July. Residential Advisors are responsible for supervising and mentoring high school students and work alongside core staff members facilitating activities.
UC Berkeley's Early Academic Outreach Program works with under-served high school students to assist them in gaining access to higher education. The summer Pre-College Academy (PCA) is a six-week academic enrichment program on the Berkeley campus that enrolls students from around the Bay Area in writing & math. EAOP is seeking college student Teaching Assistants to work with our students during PCA.
The College of Environmental Design offers several introductory summer programs - open to both UC Berkeley and non-UC Berkeley participants - for those interested in exploring the fields of architecture, landscape architecture and environmental planning, urban design and sustainable city planning. Programs are available for high school and current college students, as well as post-Baccalaureate applicants.
