“I found UC Berkeley very refreshing. Students were ambitious, but they were also willing to help each other learn. Professors and GSIs were approachable, and office hours were active and meaningful. I left that summer with not only academic growth, but also friendships and a strong feeling that UC Berkeley was a place where I wanted to return.”
—Xiaokun “Ken” Zhong
“Most impactful was the work ethic... of the students... They just had this intrinsic motivation and everyone was really focused on their academic pursuits and... career and that really pushed me to reach further and... get excited about my academic goals.”
—Julia
“The enthusiastic discussions among classmates and the professors’ ability to explain complex concepts in an approachable manner made it easier to grasp new knowledge. The warmth and friendliness of my fellow students and instructors made every class feel welcoming.”
—Eason
