UC Berkeley Summer Sessions offers more than 600 courses in over 80 academic disciplines and is an ideal way to speed up the progress of your academic career. Sessions are three, six, eight, ten, or 12 weeks in length, and classes start as early as May or as late as July. All courses carry regular academic credit and will be recorded on your Berkeley transcript.
TDPS offers engaging summer courses in acting, design, public speaking, and performance studies. Students have the opportunity to earn a three-course summer certificate for Performance & Culture in the U.S. The certificate program allows students to deepen their U.S. cultural literacy and intercultural communication skills while learning how performance intersects with media and society. Students are welcome to enroll in TDPS summer courses without completing the certificate.
The Undergraduate Minor in Education at UC Berkeley provides students with an opportunity to examine systematically an institution that occupies a unique position in society and profoundly influences the lives of virtually every member of society.
