The University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP) offers more than 160 study abroad programs. With UCEAP, students have a dedicated support team, earn UC credit and apply their financial aid to their program abroad. Summer Abroad programs are UC Berkeley courses led by UC Berkeley faculty travelling abroad over a 4–6 week period. Courses may satisfy major and/or college requirements. Program examples include “Ghana: Pan Afrikan Social Movements: Past, Present and Future” and “Chios, Greece: Mediterranean Nutrition and Food Systems.”
