2026 Exhibitors
The University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP) offers more than 160 study abroad programs. With UCEAP, students have a dedicated support team, earn UC credit and apply their financial aid to their program abroad. We offer more than 60 summer programs, including valuable research and internship experiences. Make the world your classroom and discover summer abroad options with UCEAP.
Berkeley Summer Abroad
Summer Abroad programs are UC Berkeley courses led by UC Berkeley faculty travelling abroad over a 4–6 week period. Courses may satisfy major and/or college requirements. Program examples include “Ghana: Pan Afrikan Social Movements: Past, Present and Future” and “Chios, Greece: Mediterranean Nutrition and Food Systems.”
Berkeley Global Internships
The Berkeley Global Internships program allows you to earn academic credit while also gaining practical, project-based internship experience in a variety of industries in domestic and international locations. All majors and class levels are welcome to apply!
French at Berkeley & Abroad
Staying in Berkeley over the summer? Sign up for a French language class! All levels available. Interested in getting away? Come to Paris with the French Department's summer abroad program!
Come explore summer courses in Celtic, Italian, Scandinavian and Slavic! Class topics include Irish literature, Scandinavian short stories, Italian culture, Russian literature and film, Ukrainian culture, and more. Classes fulfill R&C, L&S breadth and major/minor requirements, and most classes are online. Stop by our table for more info!

Come discover the ancient and modern Middle East through a wide interdisciplinary lens! Students will explore various cultures through art, history, film, religion and literature while gaining a deeper, global perspective. See what the Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures department has to offer this summer!
Disability Studies Minor
"DISSTD 110: Introduction to Disability Studies" focuses on the social and personal meaning of disability and chronic illness. We will explore definitions and conceptual models for the study of disability, the history of disabled people, bio-ethical perspectives, the depiction of disability in literature and the arts, public attitudes, and legal and social policies. The course will investigate the interaction of disability with social factors such as gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity and class. The course is for students with and without disabilities, and may be of special interest to students preparing for careers in the health professions, education, law, architecture, social work or gerontology. Offered online!
Interdisciplinary Studies (ISF) will offer two courses during summer 2026. ISF 100A: Introduction to Social Theory and Cultural Analysis and ISF 100E: The Globalization of Rights, Values, and Laws in the 21st Century. American Studies
We are offering three exciting Session D summer courses: AMERSTD 20C/FOLKLORE C20 (ONLINE) New Orleans Culture; AMERSTD 101 (ONLINE) The Harlem Renaissance; and AMERSTD 110 (IN PERSON) The Dream and the Nightmare: California in the Age of Noir.
Ethnic Studies

This year, we will have the following summer study abroad courses: ETHSTD N80 "Muslims in the West" in Paris, France, ETHSTD N180, "Beyond the Icons - Race, Gender & Social Change" in Havana, Cuba and CHICANO N180 "The Other Side/El Otro Lado: A comparative look at migration and refugees along the Mediterranean and US-Mexico borderlands" in Barcelona, Spain. We also offer a joint Race and the Law summer minor with the Department of African American Studies.
