The Berkeley Summer Internship Program is a unique program that gives you the opportunity to earn academic course credit while gaining practical experience in your field of interest.

Participating students take courses on the UC Berkeley campus, while interning with a Bay Area firm or organization. Participation in the internship is supported by enrollment in an online internship course. This course is designed to enable you to make the most of your internship by integrating your professional experience with your academic skills and goals.

UC Berkeley students are encouraged to consult with their academic advisors to see which major/minor or breadth requirements this program may fulfill. Visiting students are encouraged to talk to their advisors about transfer of credit to their home institutions.

Interested students can apply to the Summer Internship Program February 1, 2010. Applications are reviewed as they are received, and space is limited. All applicants must submit a complete application before they can be considered for participation.
