Courses

Participants enroll in a minimum of 2 courses: the online internship course and an internship track course.

A. Online Internship Course (ISF 187)

While working in your internship, you participate in an online course designed to relate your professional experience to your academic endeavors. You are guided through an intensive investigation of academic and professional career goals, culminating in an individualized research project.

B. Internship Track Course

The Berkeley Summer Internship Program offers you a distinct opportunity by combining Berkeley courses with professional experience.

Students select a course from one of the following internship tracks:

  • Arts, Culture, Museums
  • Business, Management, IT, Finance, Accounting
  • Marketing, Public Relations, Hospitality, Advertising
  • Healthcare, Education, Social Services, Psychology
  • Politics, Law, Non-Governmental Organizations
  • Communications, Media, Film

Courses vary from 2 to 5 units and meet from two to five days per week. The audit option is not available for Summer Internship Program participants.
