There is limited space available in the program. Applications are time-stamped in the order received and then reviewed by Summer Sessions to assure compliance with university policies and individual program requirements.
Students are advised not to purchase airline tickets until they have received confirmation from Summer Sessions that they have been admitted into the program.

New Scholarship Opportunity for UC Berkeley Students15 new scholarships are available for UC Berkeley Students participating in the Portuguese Language and Culture Travel Study Program. This funding is available to all Berkeley students and is independent and not contingent to Financial Aid. These $4,400 scholarships cover the entire program fee; students only pay unit fees.
Financial aid is available for UC Berkeley students who are enrolled in at least 6 units during the summer. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for details. All other students should contact the financial aid office at their home institution for more information.
