Agnes Dimitriou has been the program director of Berkeley Summer Sessions Travel Study program in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese for many years, and initiated the first summer course for the department in Madrid. Dr. Dimitriou has given numerous presentations to colleagues on teaching language courses focused on writing in Spanish. Her research also included the impact of study abroad programs on language improvement. The second edition of Modelos, her text on writing in Spanish, written with two colleagues, will be published soon.
