Berkeley Summer Internship Program

Application

All interested students can apply to the Summer Internship Program beginning February 4, 2008. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and space is limited. All applicants must submit a complete application packet before they can be considered for participation.

Application Criteria

The Berkeley Summer Internship Program is open to undergraduate and graduate students who have completed at least one year of full-time college coursework prior to application and who are in good academic standing, with a 2.0 GPA or higher.

International students are not eligible for participation unless authorized for Curricular Practical Training under federal visa regulations.

Application Packet

• A completed internship application form
• A hard copy of your résumé
• An essay describing your preferred internship assignment and how it will fit into your academic plans and future career goals
• A $300 non-refundable deposit (check or money order payable to UC Regents)
• One official or unofficial transcript
• A completed Summer Sessions registration form (for a Session A course and an Internship course registration)
