Earn Berkeley course creditThe Berkeley Summer Internship Program is a unique program that gives students the opportunity to earn academic course credit while gaining practical experience in their field of interest.
Participating students take courses on the UC Berkeley campus, followed by placement in a course-related internship with a Bay Area firm or organization. Participation in the internship is supported by enrollment in an internship course. This course is designed to enable students to make the most of their internship by integrating their professional experience with their academic skills and goals.
UC Berkeley students are encouraged to consult with their academic advisor to see which major/minor or breadth requirements this program may fulfill. Visiting students are encouraged to talk to their advisor about transfer of credit to their home institution.
