Residence Halls
To fully experience university life, nothing compares to living on campus. Housing at the residence halls offers single, double, and triple occupancy rooms for those registered in the Freshman Summer Session. The residence halls include an Academic Services Center, in-room ethernet connections in all rooms, live-in residential staff who provide community development activities and social programs, faculty in residence Professor George Chang with the Department of Nutritional Sciences and Toxicology, laundry facilities and an exercise room. A flexible meal plan provided by an award winning residential dining program offers dining at seven different Cal Dining locations conveniently located across the campus.

Housing Rates
The Summer Session C Residence Halls Double Occupancy Rate is $2,185.00, which covers room and board from June 21 - August 15, 2008. The Summer Session D Residence Halls double occupancy rate is $1,890.00 which covers room and board from July 5 - August 15, 2008.
If you have a fall University residence halls contract you will be required to move out of the residence halls on Friday, August 15, 2008 and return on your official fall move day; either Saturday, August 23 or Sunday, August 24, 2008. The residence halls cannot provide housing accommodations from August 15-22, 2008.
