Enrollment
As a student in Freshman Summer Session, you are eligible to take courses in Summer Session C (June 23 to August 15) and Summer Session D (July 7 to August 15). You must choose at least one course from Lis A on the Freshman Summer Session Course List. You may also choose a second course from either List A or List B.
To enroll in Freshman Summer Session:
1. Submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) through MyBerkeleyApp.2. Select the courses you want to take from the list of suggested courses.
Please note the Course Control Numbers (CCNs) for each.
3. Complete the program application online.
The deadline to apply for SFreshman Summer Session has passed.
We are no longer accepting applications for 2008.
4. Once you have submitted the application, you will receive a confirmation email stating that your application has been received. Please print out this confirmation page. It contains an applicant ID number that you can use to check your enrollment status at summer.berkeley.edu/status.
5. Most students are billed through the Campus Accounts Receivables System (CARS). More information on billing can be found here.
Freshman Summer Session is for students not already participating in other UC Berkeley Summer Programs (Summer Bridge Program, Scholars Program...).
